Amity Carrubba
Executive Director

Different communities, cultures, and parishes have helped form Amity as she grew up in the Episcopal Church and in an Air Force family. After moving 10 times across the United States and Europe, she has lived and worked in the Chicago area. Originally pursuing a career in pharmaceutical research, Amity took a leap of faith in 2000 to participate in a young adult service program. The experience was life changing, leading to work in an Episcopal parish and a call into ordained ministry. Since graduating from Episcopal Divinity School and ordination in 2006, Amity has served in two Chicago-area congregations enjoying youth ministry and creative liturgy. She also helped begin the Episcopal Service Corps program located in the Diocese of Chicago. Amity enjoys international travel, exploring different continents whenever she has the chance. While at home she takes care of her Golden Retriever, watches documentaries, and listens to the blues.
