This Spring The Diocese of California will begin recruitment for DioCal Interns: a young adult service and discernment community located in San Francisco. Many people finish college and feel a little lost. Some take an unfulfilling office job, others work in cafés or in retail, many just move back home. What if there were a place to stop, spend a year thinking about the future – intentionally looking for the intersection of your passions and the world’s needs? What if this was done through mentoring, discussions with a community of housemates with the same mission, and spending a year of full time service in a homeless shelter, a Head Start classroom or a community garden?
